Individual Therapy
Trina integrates several experiential models, including Pia Mellody’s Post Induction Therapy (PIT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Transforming Touch to support healing and growth.
This holistic approach supports clients in identifying and understanding the impact of early life experiences on present-day patterns. Through this work, clients can begin to heal their core wounds and shift away from behaviors that no longer serve them. Through healing, clients develop the ability to engage in relationships with greater compassion and healthy boundaries, cultivate meaningful self-care practices, and reconnect with their inherent sense of worth.
Career Counseling
Work is a significant part of life—yet many people spend little time identifying what truly feels meaningful and aligned. This often leads to frustration, dissatisfaction, and burnout. Thoughtful career planning, grounded in your personality, interests, and values, can greatly improve your overall well-being. Trina works with individuals at all stages, including college students, professionals considering career changes, and those navigating job transitions.
She has experience supporting entrepreneurs, business leaders, medical and legal professionals, and therapists. In addition to career direction, Trina helps clients address work-related challenges such as work-life balance, communication, conflict, and performance concerns. Trina holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, along with an undergraduate degree in business and a mini-MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Her background includes leadership roles in corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit settings, bringing valuable real-world insight to her work as a therapist and career counselor.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy, often referred to as ART, is form of psychotherapy that is effective in treating all sorts of mental health problems, including trauma. ART uses a combination of evidenced-based techniques to change how distressing memories, beliefs and images are stored in the brain. These techniques include: bilateral brain stimulation through eye movements, imaginal exposure, somatic processing, neuroplasticity and memory reconsolidation. ART reduces emotional suffering, minimizes triggers, and restores mental health.
You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.
